Wow, I'm really bad at this!! Well lets see what we can update on here. Need to change the layout for sure, since our soldier is back.....we are expecting baby #5 in june. Brianna and Tommy are both doing really well in school. Paisley loves preschool. Bella, well, Bella hangs out where she can. She loves being able to play with Paisley and loves going to Grama and Grampas! She is very technologically savvy. Give her a smartphone, an Ipod, or an Ipad and she can crack into it and find any game, movie or take tons of pics! It will be interesting to see what she grows up to be. We have added rabbits, horses, and a dog to our family and recently added a few more baby bunnies! We lost a couple of rabbits to the neighbors dog and a few of the babies to the cold, but we still have 3 plus momma so we are still doing pretty good. Tommy thinks he wants one of the babies......not sure about that!
Ryan and I are both going to school. He online and I am finishing up my last semester at ISU....YAY!!! I will have an AAS in Web Design. Ryan is going for a Bachelors of Homeland Security.
We're loving life and just trying to keep up with everything!!!

School is in full swing now, we're almost done with our first week! I havent gotten a decent nights sleep since we started either!! The kids were way excited to start though, and so was I. Brianna is in the upper pod now and tommy's in 1st grade! Paisley is excited to go to Mrs Marilyn's preschool in a couple weeks!! We just got Tommy signed up for soccer and will sign the girls up for cheer leading next week. We gonna be busy, but it will be good to make the next 3 weeks go by fast till dad gets home!!!!!

Routine

Well, Ryan has come and gone. We had a wonderful week in San Diego. We walked on the beach which was just a block from our little bed and breakfast. We went deep sea fishing and saw sea lions and dolphins. We went to Sea World and saw more sea lions and dolphins...and whales!=) We were going to go horse back riding but got rained out. We stopped in Vegas and stayed the night there. Went to Fremont street and watched the spray painter guy, totally awesome!! You tube him some time, it's really cool! We had some good quality family time, went skating and other miscellaneous things. Got to visit friends in blackfoot. It was a good 15 days. Now we are getting back into our old routine. Two more months of school. If I can get through that I'll be doing just fine!! I'm ready for a break!

I really need to get better at posting on this, even though no one looks at it. It's an online diary almost! Online scrapbook for sure.
Anyhoo, our Daddy is deployed right not to Iraq but gets to come home soon for a visit. We're excited for that.
Brianna is doing well in school and is playing basket ball and really enjoying that. She's also taking piano and gym.
Tommy is smart as a whip and enjoys school and gymnastics.
Paisley is in preschool and turns 4 on saturday. She loves her teacher who she calls Miss Melon!(Marilyn)
Bella turned 2 a couple days ago and needs to go to gym, she's quite the tumbler. She loves music and sings all the time!
Mom is going to school and juggling life without dad. We are all doing pretty good. Cant wait for Dad to get home!

Well I guess I better update this thing. Ryan ended up getting deployed so he is in Mississippi right now. He will be shipping off in about a week. He will be a liazon for the International Zone, the mouth piece of the Army......or something like that. I'm not real sure what he's doing.
I was going to apply for a secretary job at the elementary school but with Ryan being gone I decided to hold off. I am also still going to school, so hopefully in a bout a year and a half the job will be back open somewhere.
Brianna is in 3rd grade and doing very well. Tommy in in Kindergarten although might as well be in first. Paisley goes to preschool and is learning lots! Bella stays at home and terrorizes mom. We are dealing with having dad gone. We got a flat daddy and the kids were pretty excited for that.
Winter is coming and it's getting cold. I mostly stay inside and try to stay warm!

I really need to keep this thing updated. Oh well, no one reads it so I guess it doesnt matter. We're back home and tomorrow is the first day of school!! YAY! Tommy starts kindergarten on tuesday and paisley starts preschool in a couple weeks. I cant believe I technically have 3 kids in school!
I'm not going to be going back full time myself....it's a money thing...but I am taking an online psych class. I plan to keep up on all my WDM stuff though. I need to get good so I can take over the district web site cuz it SUCKS!
Ryan is at AT for 3 weeks. Eventually he might be home long enough to do some much needed house repair! Oh wait, hunting season starts in 3 weeks, nevermind. Well, here's my update, hope everyone that reads this is doing well!!

O here we are in Oklahoma!

We are in OK with Ryan finally. It's great to be here. Grandma and Grandpa came with us and stayed the weekend. We've already seen some wonderful sites. We went to the top of Mount Scott, highest mountain(hill) in OK. We went to Medicine Creek, OK's first cobblestone community, it is absolutely the closest thing to heaven on earth I've seen, next to home of course. It's beautiful! We saw some buffalo up close and long horn steer. There's a cinnabon!! We spent the day today driving around lawton so I could learn my way around. Now to figure out dinner. No oven and no bathtub, but we'll manage!!

Update on Life

Well, things are going good. I have one final left and then be out for winter break. Brianna will be out for just as long!
Ryan is going to 4 months of Warrant officer school home for a couple weeks, boise for a month then deployed in Sept. We've been through the rounds with all this. Sucks a lot!
Everything else is going good. Bella is walking, has teeth and is all sorts of fun. Paisley is finally learning her colors. I asked her what a color was and she told me dark blue, which it was. I was a little surprised. Tommy plays alot of wii. Cant wait to get him back in to school!!

This is Bella dudded up for the Cutest Baby contest down at the downey fair. She took 1st place in the 0-6 mo group. Of course!! And the bows that we had made special just for this...today...like 3 hours before we had to go! Thanks Jill!! It was fun and there was lots of cute kids! Just none as cute as mine!

Mid Summer Activities

Well we've been busy busy the last few weeks. Camp Taylor with the Morris clan, Alturus with the Lloyd clan, and now tomorrow we're headed to boise for a couple days to pick up my Mom. Ryan will also be starting his 3 week AT. See ya in 18 days babe!! I'm probably going to start potty training Paisley when we get back from Boise on Monday. Oh yey, cant wait.......or maybe I can. Guess we'll see how motivated I am. She is only 2 1/2, not quite even at that, the other 2 were over 3. She's been ready for a while, just need to get it done. Bells is getting so big. She can roll just about anywhere but cant sit up for anything, just plops right over. Oh well, she'll get there. I'm not in any hurry for her to be moving around yet. Even though it is fun to watch her accomplishments. She's a chunk-a-butt as I call her. Love her to death. Well, i better be off to bed. Headed out early tomorrow.

Angel Baby

Here is a picture of Bella on her blessing afghan. It is a guardian angel, she is laying on the body of the angel with the wings out to her sides. There is a really cool story behind it. I dont tell it very well but I'll try.
I have been given blankets for all my other kids but hadnt received one for Bella. So I told my "other mother", Jo, and she mentioned it to one of her niece's. So Gloria, her niece, searched for a pattern and couldnt find one. Then she had this book and it just fell open to this pattern. This was just before my brother died. She was able to finish the blanket the day he died, which was also the week we blessed her. So she had her guardian angel there. I sent her up with the blanket in remembrance of Kirk, sort of a stand in for him. Him and Angie had planned on coming up to the blessing but he decided to go on an eternal flight instead.=) So there it is, not as good as when I was told the story but it really means alot to me. I will post more pics of the blanket and Bella another time.

Well, not a whole lot of new stuff going on. The rock chucks are out, I hear tell there are meadowlarks a singin', though I havent heard any yet myself. I am so happy. I dont like to be cold. I think I am finally caught up on my school work from the funeral. Spring break is next week. Hopefully I'll be able to relax for a couple days, and maybe get ahead a little. The kids are growing like weeds, especially the babe. She is smiling now and it's so fun to watch her. Ryan will be able to process his orders next week so we'll be able to start getting our move to Oklahoma all figured out here soon. Brianna's birthday is in less than 2 weeks. She is going to be 7!! Wow, I can believe how time flies. Anyhoo, that's about all for now. I need to post some pics of the kids. Next week, next week........=)

In remembrance.....

I dont really have a lot to say on this, I just want to post this link for anyone that might read it and be willing to help out in any way. My brother, Kirk Babbitt, died in a plane crash on Antelope Island in Utah on March 3, 2009. He died doing what he loved so that is always a plus I guess. Anyways, my cousin put together a website, it is very nice. There is a link for donations. So anyone that reads this and is able to help it would be greatly appreciated. He left behind a wife and 3 children. Take a minute to read the obituary, it is beautiful.

Baby update

Obviously babies will do what they want when they want but I am tentatively scheduled to be started on sat the 31 of jan. Depending on how things are going at my next appointment i'll either go in friday night or sat morning. So crazy crazy, we're having a baby next week!!! Hopefully that will give me enough recoop time to go back to school tuesday night and it will be before Grama leaves for Canada the next week. Paisley wont have to share her bday and if she comes on the 31st we'll still basically have our bdays all in a row.....31, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8....i know we're missing a few in between, but they wont ever get filled in so, we'll just make do with what we have.
Also, we'll probably have her blessed the first weekend in march. so that's what we know, if anythign changes i'll post again!!

Quick Update

Havent been on here in forever so i thought I would get on and update real quick. We still dont have a baby or a name for her. Hopefully she'll be coming soon.
Ryan and I are both going to school. Ryan is just part time I am full. He is finishing his associates in law enforcement and i am going in to web design management. Hopefully I will be able to take a couple classes online while we are in oklahoma.
Which dont know what I've said about all that but we are still going to oklahoma in july.
Brianna is doing well in school, she's learning to read very well and does good with her spelling and math.
Tommy likes preschool and is doing well, he knows his letters very well and is learning to write and even read a little. The kindergarten isnt going to know what to do with him. He still has one year of preschool because he misses the deadline. I hope there is a good preschool in OK.
Paisley is ........well, Paisley. She's been on a bully rampage lately. Hopefully that passes before baby gets here. She's a handful, definitely our tom boy. We love her though, she keeps us busy.
I think that's about all that is going on for now. We'll try to keep ya'll updated as we have more news!!

Ok, we cant come up with another name. The idea was for each to pick out two names and then mutually agree on one, ha ha. Anyhoo, here are the names we have so far so start putting in ideas!!
The middle name is pretty well picked......Grace. the only other option I forsee is Rae.

Brooklie.........spellings will probably be different i.e. brookleigh, brookly, same goes for all names.

Have to tell the story on this last one. Brianna got a book for Christmas and was reading it and asked what a word was. It just happened to be shyly. We both kinda looked at each other and Ryan said, huh, we could use that as a name...I was thinking the same thing.
So yes after Paisley we all know that we come up with odd names, I think this list boots them all. Hadley is another name i came up with but ryan does like it so it hasnt made the list, yet. Anyhoo, there they are, let us know what you think!!

OOOklahoma......

where the wind comes sweeping down the plains.......and we get to move there for 9 months. It's official as of today folks, we are going to wonderful OK. We'll be attending the july class, I think it starts the beginning of july. In anycase, for those that have no clue what I'm talkin about this is for Ryans warrant officer commission with the Natl guard. We decided it would be better training for him and he only has 2 months to get the online portion done. He is on chance 2 of 2 so we're taking the easy road......ok maybe not easy but the most logical one I guess. So just an update there. I'll keep ya'll posted as we learn more.

Thanksgiving!

Well, we had a pretty uneventful and good thanksgiving. I tried my hand at baking pies, crusts even. They turned out pretty good. We had lots of good food and company. We spent our Thanksgiving day at Ryan's parents and most of his family was there, the rest we missed. This is always a good time to sit down and remember, of course, everything we are thankful for. Family, friends, a good life in general. I hope that everyone else has had a good holiday and can remember the things they are thankful for and have.

Paisley's Favorite Pastimes

Here are a couple of Paisley's favorite things to do. This summer she loved to ride the lawn mower, which isnt ours unfortunately. Whether it was with dad or grampa, she loved to do it, and Dad got her to sleep a couple times so that's always a bonus. Her latest is riding on Brianna's back. Brianna's a pretty good sport about it and Paisley loves it. Brianna was about to pass out in this pic I think!=)

With as grouchy as all the kids were for this shoot we could totally be back in the time oh photos where nobody ever smiled. With these in black and white or sepia that's what it totally reminds me of. Except that I'm smiling in just about all of them so they'd have to photo shop me out or something. Not much has been going on, we recently bought a truck bed trailer to use for hauling wood. Problem is we dont know where to find any. We went looking yesterday and came back with about 20 logs, little ones. Not enough to do much.
I am working on getting registered for school. Hopefully someone will call me today so I can finish getting everything set up. I have to wait and see what I get back for financial aid to determine whether or not I will even go back. I have my schedule almost all set up as far as what I'm taking in the spring. Guess we''ll see how it all turns out.
Brianna is doing good in school. She is learning to read and is awesome at it, even though she doesnt think so. She spells really well too. They have been learning doubles for math and she enjoys that.
Tommy learned the letter F at preschool. He enjoys it a lot. Paisley is busy as ever and I have a hard time keeping her entertained when her brother and sister are at school. Movies dont keep her entertained like they do the older two. It will be good to have a younger sibling here for her to play with.
Ryan stays pretty busy with work. We're glad when he's home and the kids get to be with him. Paisley is pretty fond of him.

We got our pictures back that we had done of the kids. With so many it's hard to decide which one's to post. These are the enhancements. I will probably post more as time goes on. Big thanks again to Suzy for doing them!! It was a hard day for pics, it had rained all day and night before so we didnt have a lot to work with. But she's awesome and I'm convinced she can do anything. Especially with the help of our technological advances these days.

I guess I better post something on here and keep it fairly updated. Let's see, this last week was pretty uneventful. We had dad home for half the week so we got some things done around the house. Grandma and Grampa were gone hunting so we missed them for a few days. We spent a lot of time over at the Morris'. The kids really have fun playing with the cousins over there. I worked on some seat covers that I made for the Performing Arts Center down at the high school. They are for the concerts that the PA council puts on. They were too small so I had to put a panel and used my Aunt's surger to put it in. I definitely need to get one of those!! Talk about handy!
On saturday we went in to a tailgate party for ryans crew from work, then we went to his brothers engagement party, ten we went to the ISU football game. It was pretty hectic as we only got to spend about and hour at each place. We didnt stay for the whole game, they were getting pretty slaughtered and the refs werent calling a very good game. I like NFL a lot better than college football personally. Anyhoo, that's about the extent of our excitement for the last few days. Guess i better see what excitement I can create for this week.

We finished up Brianna's first year of soccer yesterday. She did really well and had a fun time playing. We got snowed on too. We enjoyed spending some time with the Grama's from Arizona the last few days. We had to cancel going to the baptism due to the weather. We sure miss those Burley guys over there!! We're starting a new week and hopefully it will be a good and safe one with all the new snow, time to break out the boots and gloves!!

I guess I get to be the first to put anything on this. They have my blog under review for spam so I guess I'll see if I can even post anything on this. Things are going good in our little world. Brianna made wheat bread at school yesterday. It went with the story the little red hen that they have been reading. It was really good bread too!! We mostly just hung out yesterday. I did get a girls night out to go spend at Francine's house to play bunco, it was fun and good to get out. We are planning on going to a baptism this weekend. It will be good to see the burley family!!
